Creating a card takes a minute; issuing it takes a quarter of an hour. Here's the complete process.
Virtual or physical?
Virtual | Exists only digitally: number, expiry date and CVV to use for online purchases and subscriptions. Ready in ~15 minutes, reduced cost or included in the plan. |
Physical | The plastic card for shops, restaurants and withdrawals. It arrives by post at the address you provide. |
The steps
1. Go to Cards → New card and choose the type.
2. Enter the cardholder's details: first name, last name and mobile number. The number is important: that's where confirmation codes arrive when the card pays online (the so-called 3D Secure).
3. Set the spending rules: daily and monthly limits, online payments, contactless, categories. You can change these at any time.
4. Confirm. Follow the status on the page: when the card shows as active, for the virtual one press "Show details" to see the number and CVV (with a security confirmation).
💡 Remember: the card is created linked to the Cards Account. If the Cards Account is at zero, top it up before your first purchase — otherwise the payment will be declined for insufficient funds even if the main account is full.
