In addition to traditional currencies, you can send and receive payments in stablecoin — explained simply, without technical jargon.
What is a stablecoin?
It's a digital currency whose value is pegged to a real currency: 1 USDC is always worth 1 US dollar. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, its value doesn't fluctuate: it's designed for payments, not speculation.
Why use it for international payments?
Speed: the transfer arrives in real time, even at night and on holidays — while a classic international bank transfer can take days.
Clear costs: you see the fees in the quote before confirming.
Global coverage: reach counterparties in countries where traditional banking networks are slow or expensive.
How it works on IperMoney
1. Activate International Payments (one-time company verification).
2. In this section, you can convert funds to and from stablecoin and send them to a wallet or a counterparty: as with any payment, you get a quote with amounts and fees, and confirm with your security code.
3. Collections work too: the counterparty sends you stablecoin and you convert it to euros in your account.
💡 Good to know: every operation is tracked just like a normal transaction, with statements and references — your accounting doesn't change. Operations are subject to the same anti-fraud and anti-money laundering checks as bank transfers.
